I have taught from Reception to Year 7 across 23 years, mainly leading science, but also ICT, DT and other subjects. I have worked in 6 schools across the country.

I was Deputy Headteacher for 15 years at Elm Park Primary before becoming Headteacher. This has been a varied experience as I have supported the school through much change, including 5 Ofsted Inspections and the amalgamation of two schools whilst building a new one. I have gained my NPQH.

I was also the Assessment Lead and introduced a new assessment system to the school. I am always looking for increasingly effective ways to engage and support learners through a more personalised approach.
