I have been in education for 16 years and joined Squirrels Heath Infants as Deputy Head 8 years ago. As a leader I have been through two inspections under different frameworks and have led on assessment, literacy and early reading, school travel plans and sustainability, pupil councils and Pupil Premium, as well as working within a strong SLT to ensure we are always moving the school forward. I also have a wide range of experience mentoring NQTs and student teachers. Although currently non class-based, I have been a teaching Deputy, with responsibility for a year group.
