I achieved a BA in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton in 2013. Since then I have been working as a class teacher at Elm Park Primary School in Havering. I have been a subject leader for Art and Design for 4 and a half years and was involved in introducing the new curriculum, as well as new assessment systems, to staff. I have also worked with Art and Design Subject Leads from other schools to support them in their role. I am responsible for the Learning Environment across the school including school environment and displays, learner voice and learning and life skills. Recently, I have joined the Literacy Team and am supporting in leading this across the school.

Throughout my teaching, I have supported three final year teaching students and mentored them through their last placement before they were appointed as Newly Qualified Teachers.
