I have worked in Havering for the whole of my career. I have taught at Oasis Pinewood, Ardleigh Green Infant school and now Mead Primary.
Most of my experience has been in KS1 and Early Years. During my time I have set up a brand new purpose built Nursery at Pinewood school and overseen the renovation of the Nursery at Mead School. I have dedicated my career to learning about and coaching others on early child development. I have worked closely with the children`s author Julie Fisher and proof read some of her pieces.
As well as working extensively in Early Years I have lead the teaching of literacy in all of my schools and studied the development of children`s reading and writing and the importance of a strong early phonics input.
I last year received my Elklan accreditation Level 3 and am also a NASENCO qualified SENCO.
