I am a qualified SEN teacher with 5 years of experience in teaching mostly Autistic individuals.

I have two higher degrees, one of them MA in SEN.

I support ASD students through TEACCH (structured teaching) and Attention Autism.

I work closely with SALT at school promoting use of total communication (visuals, PECS, objects of reference and Makaton).

I support teachers in planning, class organisation and behaviour management. I have been taking a big part in implementing new assessment methods (MAPP2, Evidence for Learning) throughout the school.

My role also includes regular teachers and MLT meetings and training for staff in the areas of my expertise.
