This face-to-face, two-part course is aimed at science subject leaders or assessment leaders. It will cover a range of processes and strategies for the assessment of primary science.
The first part of this course will:
- cover the purpose of assessment
- provide an opportunity to reflect on current assessment procedures
- explore the relationship between formative and summative assessment
- introduce participants to a range of strategies for assessment of substantive and disciplinary knowledge.
