This in-person course will support teachers, assessment leaders and moderators to maintain their knowledge of the KS1 Teacher Assessment Framework Standards. It will explain how to follow the process of systematic review and how to conduct a professional conversation in the context of moderation.
This is a new course – supporting the continued practice of moderation, using the TAFs. Delegates will understand how to follow the process of systematic review of work samples for reading, writing and mathematics and improve their confidence and familiarity with the TAF Standards.
Although making end-of-Key Stage 1 summative assessments is no longer statutory, many schools plan to continue to use the Teacher Assessment Frameworks for reading, writing and mathematics to measure how children’s work measures up against national standards.
