HSIS Computing- Preparing for an Ofsted Deep Dive in Computing

This extremely practical half-day course is aimed at subject leaders who are anticipating an inspection and would like to feel thoroughly ready as well as those who would like to use the methodology to support their own self-evaluation and strategic planning.
It will cover the following aspects :
- Are you ready to work alongside inspectors on the deep dive?
- What to expect from visits to lessons, book scrutiny and pupil discussion.
- What teachers will be expected to demonstrate in terms of the content and sequencing of learning within their subject.
- Planning ahead and preparing in advance: considering how you can ensure that your school and colleagues are ready.
For those not currently expecting an inspection but would like to evaluate their own provision, the above will help you to do this and is suitable for you too.
